Broomley Pre-School Prospectus
Broomley Pre-school offers sessional care for 3-4yr olds.
Up to twenty-four children are accommodated at any one time and sessions run from Monday to Friday 9am-3pm. We also offer wrap around care 8am-9am and 3pm-5.30pm.
We are situated in the grounds of Broomley First School and share an enclosed outdoor area with the reception class.
Our involvement within the school makes the children’s transition into full time education seamless.
We are a community run, non-profit-making organisation, managed by a voluntary committee of Parents/Guardians.
The committee is elected at the Annual General meeting in October and we hold meetings 1-2 times per term. The committee work alongside staff to review policies, fund raise and help make important decisions. If you are not a member of the committee, we would still be grateful for your help with fund raising and arranging activities.
We have three members of staff who work closely together to plan a range of stimulating activities, creating learning opportunities for the children based on the foundation stage curriculum. We also employ bank staff who work on a regular basis.

Staffing level is 1:8 maximum staff to child ratio.
Additional needs will be catered for as required.
